Plot Summary: A fashionable New York socialite returns to her Alabama hometown to finalize her divorce from her estranged husband before marrying her wealthy fiancé. While there, she is forced to confront her past and reconnects with the life she left behind. As she spends time in the South, she begins to question whether her picture-perfect new life is truly what she wants..

Dad's Preview: As this film played on, I found myself wondering if I have accidentally strayed into my wife's territory, you know, the Hallmark Channel. For as engaging as Reese Witherspoon can be, she dials it back in this fairly run-of-the-mill romantic comedy. Her character Melanie has an impossible choice: two exceedingly handsome suitors. Oh, to have that problem. The performances are nice. It's all very nice. In the end I really wanted more something, more conflict or sacrifice or brokenness - those things that make winning in love worth it.
