Plot Summary: Uptight investment banker Charles Driggs' uneventful life takes a sudden turn when he encounters free-spirited Lulu. What begins as a mischievous adventure quickly evolves into a spontaneous road trip filled with unexpected twists and turns. Their journey becomes complicated when Lulu's unpredictable and dangerous ex-convict husband unexpectedly reappears, forcing Charles to confront unforeseen challenges.

Dad's Preview: Who doesn't want to be kidnapped from their regular lives, at least for a few hours? When Lulu shanghais Charles you just know that neither person will be the same afterwards. Jeff Daniels plays the perfect uptight NYC banker and Melanie Griffith steals the show as the impulsive Lulu. It is the perfect oil and vinegar romance.
