Why watch this? This is every parent's worst nightmare - to have their child taken hostage.

Plot Summary: An American family, Ben and Jo McKenna and their young son, Hank, are vacationing in Morocco when they encounter a disguised French intelligence agent who is subsequently murdered. Before he dies, the agent reveals details about an assassination plot set to take place in London. To ensure the McKennas' silence, the assassins kidnap Hank, forcing the parents to embark on a desperate mission to save their son and prevent the assassination themselves.

Dad's Preview: This is another Hitchcock masterpiece. An uninvolved American couple's son is kidnapped after a dying secret agent divulges important information to the boy's father. This puts into action an intense game of cat and mouse. As the boy's desperate parents cooperate for their child's safe return, we become aware of an assassination plot at a London opera house. Stewart, as always, carries the film, and no director does suspense better than Hitch.
