believe. Let it go." - John Rambo
Why watch this?
... it's Stallone's best action film. Don't waste your time on the
sequels. Plot
Summary: John Rambo, a former Green Beret and
Vietnam veteran, is harassed by a small-town sheriff,
Will Teasle, and his deputies. This escalating
harassment triggers Rambo's Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder, leading him to escape into the nearby
wilderness, where he is pursued by the sheriff's posse.
Rambo uses his Special Forces training and survival
skills to fight back against his pursuers. His former
commanding officer, Colonel Trautman, is flown in to
intervene and de-escalate the situation.
Dad's Preview:
Stallone is John Rambo, a drifter who wanders into the wrong town, where the
hard-nosed Sheriff Teasle decides to hassle him. What makes this
film so awesome is it two lead stars, Stallone and Dennehy.
Early on, we realize that this is going to be a battle to the
bitter end, and people are going to get hurt. This is non-stop action
right up to its awesome
climax.
